How My Journey Shapes My Work
I remember feeling lost in my postpartum experience—trying to embrace motherhood while struggling with intimacy, identity, and the silent pressure to “have it all together.” There wasn’t enough space to talk about the real challenges of becoming a parent, and I found myself bottling up emotions instead of asking for support.
That journey through vulnerability led me to therapy—not just as a client, but as a calling. I discovered the healing power of art therapy, a tool that helped me reconnect with my creativity, authenticity, and the parts of myself that motherhood didn’t erase.
After having my first child in graduate school, I pursued additional training in sex therapy and perinatal mental health to help women and couples navigate postpartum identity shifts, intimacy struggles, and the emotional highs and lows of parenthood. Now, I create the safe, judgment-free space I once needed—so you don’t have to go through it alone.
How I Support Your Healing Journey
Life’s big transitions—becoming a parent, rebuilding intimacy, or redefining your relationship—can feel overwhelming. You may be struggling to find balance, longing for deeper connection, or feeling like parts of yourself are slipping away. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
In both individual and couples therapy, I help you navigate change with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Using art therapy as a tool for healing, I guide you in expressing the emotions you’ve been taught to suppress—so you can experience the love, intimacy, and fulfillment you truly deserve.
For couples, I focus on strengthening communication, deepening sexual intimacy, and helping you meet each other halfway. Relationships evolve, but with the right support, they don’t have to break under pressure—they can grow stronger.
As your therapist, I serve as your advocate, offering you a blank canvas to reimagine yourself, your relationship, and the life you want to create. Let’s start painting that new picture—together.
